Team Saturday at The Hill School is an enrichment program where students can build their confidence, self-esteem, skills, and friendships while having a lot of fun.
During the school year there are fifteen Saturday sessions from 10:00 to 2:00 at the Hill School; in our summer program, four to five consecutive sessions.
For all the students, Team Saturday provides a fun, safe, and predictable environment where the students can have a great time together, learn new skills, receive individualized attention, and build meaningful connections with their classmates and teachers.
For our younger students, Team Saturday Junior (grades 2-5), sessions include art, cooking, various sports, and ample free-play time. There are also field trips and special activities throughout the year such as Tae Kwon Do, STEAM workshops, gardening, and outdoor skills building activities. Students also have the wonderful opportunity to work with Hill School eighth-grade mentors during the school-year program.
Our middle school program, Team Saturday Senior (grades 6-8), offers students more time to work on projects together and with a little more autonomy. The students have a greater sense of independence and opportunities to develop their peer-management, leadership, and team-building skills all while creating some pretty fantastic projects for themselves and the community.
Team Saturday students who age into High school may continue to participate as teacher’s assistants and earn volunteer hours while gaining valuable experience.
Our core values are respect and kindness. We strive to make each session an experience where everyone feels welcomed, safe, well-cared for, energized, inspired, and valued as an important part of this wonderful community.
